Google Sheet Automations Plus Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Appstronauts, a trading name of AEVELS LLC ("Appstronauts", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you install or use Google Sheet Automations Plus, our monday.com Marketplace app for connecting monday.com with Google Sheets.
1. Information We Process
We process the information needed to provide the app and run the automations you configure. The app does not crawl or copy your entire monday.com instance. Access is determined by monday.com permissions, the authorized user's access, and the boards and fields selected in an automation. Information may include:
- monday.com installation and account metadata, including account and user IDs, account name, user name and email, country, account tier, app version, and installation status;
- selected monday.com board and group identifiers and names; column identifiers, titles, types, and settings; and automation context;
- selected item and subitem identifiers, names, column text and values, state, creator ID, creation time, and linked, mirrored, or formula values when required by the configured automation;
- Google account authorization details, including OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens, so the app can maintain your Google Sheets connection;
- spreadsheet and file metadata needed to find spreadsheets you select;
- selected Google Sheets cell, row, and sheet data when required to perform the sync actions you configure;
- app configuration, workflow settings, sync timestamps, usage counts, support messages, and operational or diagnostic logs.
See our Data Handling and Security page for a technical breakdown of the data processed by each part of the integration.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and troubleshoot Google Sheet Automations Plus;
- run the automations and sync actions selected by your users;
- maintain authentication with monday.com and Google;
- protect the app from abuse, errors, and security issues;
- respond to support, procurement, and security requests;
- improve app reliability and user experience.
3. Google API Data
The app uses Google API access only to provide and improve user-facing features that you configure. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Storage and Retention
OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. We store these tokens, connection details, app configuration, sync history, installation records, usage records, and operational records as needed to provide and protect the app. monday.com and Google Sheets content is processed to perform the configured automation and may be present temporarily in application memory, background job queues, or diagnostic records while an operation is executed, retried, or investigated. We do not use customer spreadsheet or board content for unrelated purposes.
If you uninstall the app, stored monday.com and Google connection tokens for that monday.com account are deleted and future automations stop. Revoking Google access or disconnecting a spreadsheet also stops future access through that connection. We may retain limited installation, billing, usage, security, error, and support records for a reasonable period for legitimate business and legal purposes.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to provide and support the app, including with:
- monday.com, when the app is installed or used in monday.com;
- Google, when you connect and use Google Sheets or Drive;
- infrastructure, database, hosting, monitoring, and support providers acting on our behalf;
- authorities or other parties if required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed by the app, including encryption of stored OAuth tokens, secure token handling, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so customers should maintain appropriate access controls and backups for important business data.
7. Your Controls
Your monday.com and Google administrators control which accounts, boards, spreadsheets, and permissions are connected to the app. You can revoke access or stop future processing by:
- uninstalling or disabling the app in monday.com;
- changing app configuration in monday.com;
- revoking Google access from your Google Account security settings;
- contacting us for support with deletion or access requests.
8. International Processing
Our primary application server is hosted in Europe. monday.com, Google, Turso, Upstash, and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you or your organization are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
10. Third-Party Domains You May Encounter
